Dear Friend,
I am TAKING the CHALLENGE for KT/DA from the Massachusetts State Association of Emblem Clubs. I have joined the MSAEC WALK/RUN/BIKE – A- THON. I want YOU to join me, too! There is a physical challenge for me and I want to raise money to support programs at KT/DA. If you decide to join me you will be able to choose the event, WALK/RUN/or BIKE and the route of 5K, 10K or 15 to 30 bike route. You will also be asked to raise money for the MSAEC state project of KD/TA by asking your friends, families and colleagues for financial support.
ABOUT KT/DA
| KT/DA provides direct financial aid to needy kidney patients and donors in New England through its Patient Assistance Program. KT/DA awards Scholarships to kidney patients or members of their immediate families for continuation of post-secondary school education. KT/DA provides a variety of social activities for patients and their families, including regular meetings. KT/DA publishes a quarterly newsletter, The RenalGram, which informs members about recent medical advances, facts relating to treatment, upcoming events for patients, important legislation, and news of KT/DA's activities. KT/DA publishes a KT/DA Patient Handbook, which discusses many aspects of dialysis and transplantation, including the types of dialysis, transplantation protocols, diet, anemia, blood pressure, financial resources, sexual problems, and psychological adjustment. |

By Taking the Challenge for KT/DA, our Friends with Kidney Disease and joining me and the Massachusetts State Association of Emblem Clubs WALK/RUN/BIKE –A-THON, you will not only be making a difference in the lives of many men, women, children and their families; you will show your dedication to promoting the Massachusetts State Association of Emblem Clubs and KT/DA awareness within our community and you will have fun doing it. With your help, we will continue to fight kidney disease and improve the lives of those undergoing treatment.
